Beginning as a back-up photographer, Jordan soon found herself doing lots of different photoshoots and created her business which is now booming. 

How we chose Jordan

Three days prior to our wedding, we somehow found ourselves without a photographer. We had lost communication with our initial photographer.  We really loved Jordan's photos but at the time of my interview with her, had already selected a photographer.

Jordan came to the rescue and offered her services as she had had a cancellation for that date. She saved our day big time. 

Working with Jordan

I knew from the first point of contact regarding our wedding day that we had the perfect photographer for us. Jordan prefers great in-the-moment candid photos over highly posed awkward shots. This is exactly what we were looking for in a photographer.

Jordan phoned me to discuss our timeline and photo locations as well as offering suggestions given that we were time poor with daylight. She greatly put both our minds at ease. We knew our wedding was in capable hands.

On the day, Jordan arrived during mine and my bridal party's preparation. She was friendly and from the get-go, made everyone feel comfortable. I didn't even need to ask her to take photos of my important things such as my dress, shoes and several heirlooms I had.

For the ceremony, Jordan remained discreet which was nice because we were both full of nerves and emotions. She photographed all the important moments which we were grateful for. At the ceremony, we were so caught up in the moment and focusing on what we had to say, that it went by in a blur. Thankfully, we have moments captured that we can re-live our wedding through.

Taking photos after the wedding was an easy and comfortable process. Everything ran smoothly and we weren't taking forever to set up shots. Given that we had two children in our Bridal party this helped greatly. Sure, we took posed photos but some of our favourites are those taken in the moment when we are laughing and talking.

Inside the reception, we barely knew Jordan was there. She was taking photos but made sure we didn't have a camera in our faces the whole time. We also got some lovely group portraits taken with the guests, with Jordan making this whole process as smooth as possible.

The Bridal Party, along with guests and family were also very happy with Jordan's services. Their general consensus was that she was friendly, easy going, highly professional and made everyone feel comfortable.

Best Decision

Choosing to use Jordan as our photographer was easily one of the best decisions we have ever made as a couple. We look back on our photos and are very happy with them along with the service that Jordan provided.

You only get married once and you need a great photographer to capture the day. The photographer needs to work well with both of you, be professional and polite. Jordan was all of these things. We really can't recommend her enough.
